Here is a review for DragonballGT. (and no GT doesn't stand for Goku and Trunks or nothing like that. it stands for Grand Tour.)

First of all, I like to inform you all that DragonBall GT isn't the work of Akira Toriyama. GT is mainly created by the other members at his Bird Studio. Hence every now and then you might find character look a little, or something might not look the same as in DragonBall Z. They are perfectly normal. Some people have found GT to be a lot worse than DragonBall Z, however, there are also people saying that GT is much much better. Some cannot even tell the differences. So what do I think of GT? One word to describe it, EXCELLENT!

DragonBall GT is the last part of the DragonBall Trilogy. GT is also divided into two parts. The part is Gokou's journey into the outer space retrieving back the seven Ultimate DragonBalls and fighting Babi. The second part is at Earth fighting the enemies from Hell. Now we will now look at the two aparts in more detail.

Story begins when Gokou is turned into a child by Lord Pilaf, one of Gokou's main nemesis when Gokou was young. Pilaf takes the Ultimate DragonBalls out and summoned the Ultimate Shenlong. Gokou is just passing by at the time and completely ignores Pilaf, which frustrates Pilaf hence he fires two missils at Gokou. Gokou takes the missles down easily and doesn't even intend to attack back. Pilaf is furious, and wishes that only if Gokou was small so he could beat him with ease. Shenlong takes the wish and grants it for Pilaf, and Gokou is turned into a kid.

Gokou is now a kid, but he isn't worried or anything because he still has his power with him, but only losing special abilities such as teleportation. However, the reason that the Ultimate DragonBalls were is that if a wish is granted, the DragonBalls are then scattered across the entire universe (unlike the other DragonBalls we have seen in DragonBall and DragonBall Z, they are only scattered across the planet). If the seven DragonBalls are not retrieved back within a year, Earth will explode. So Gokou takes Pan and Trunks with him and their long journey begins.

Gokou's journey into the universe is quite an experience. In total they have visited 11 different planets in order to find the seven Ultimate DragonBalls back. In GT, we get to learn about the 11 different planets and the differnet creatures living there, and most of all, the enemies they encounter. We also find out about the androids at planet M2, why they are after Gokou and the story behind Dr Myuu. Finally, the presence of Babi, a powerful robot developed by Dr Myuu. The fight between Babi and the Z fighters has some of the best fight scenes ever. The fight is awesome, absolutely fantastic, and we even get to see Goten and Uubuu in action as well. Apart from great fight scenes, it is also the first time when Gokou transforms into Super Saiya-Jin 4. The fight against Babi lasts for about 10 episodes, and Babi dies at the end. The first part of Dragonball GT comes to a conclusion with another Tenkaichi Budoukai (and guess who wins at the end?).

The second part of DragonBall GT begins in Hell, and Dr Myuu and Dr Gero (remember him from DragonBall Z?) appear again. Dr Myuu and Dr Gero become partners in Hell and created new Android 17, and they also create a gateway which connects Earth and Hell together. There are also lot of familar faces in Hell, such as Cell and Freeza. It turns out that Gokou has to fight them again. After defeating them, Gokou goes back to Earth and fights new Android 17. The fight continues for a few episodes which later new Android 17 even absorbs #17 and becomes Super Android 17. The figth lasts for a few episodes before Super Android 17 is defeated.

Krillin is unfortunately killed while fighting Super Android 17, and Gokou takes out the DragonBalls and summons out the Shenlong. It turns out that an old Black Shenlong is summoned and the Black Shenlong releases 7 other dragons, each holding a DragonBall. The reason being that the energy the seven DragonBalls have aborbed in the past has built up, and hence the energy is released and turnes them into 7 dragons. If the seven dragons are not killed, they might even destroy the entire gallaxy. Then the rest of GT all we see is Z fighters fighting each of the 7 dragons.

After removing the 7 dragons, then we are pretty much at the end of DragonBall GT. However, there is a suprise ending which I to spoil and like to make you guys watch it and find out yourself. It is quite interesting and quite remarkable, but I do believe that you will enjoy it very much.

I really liked GT mainly because it doesn't just base around Gokou fighting, fighting and more fighting. GT actually has a proper storyline unlike DragonBall Z. The storyline progresses on in a suitable pace so it doesn't move too slow and drift you to sleep or make you bored. Which the best thing about this is that the climax builds episode after episode therefore making you hooked on watching it and never want to miss another episode. The battle with Babi is also different compared to the past battles we see in DragonBall Z. Everything is so unexpected, and the fighting scenes are just fantastic, watching the battle between Gokou and Babi is so intense which I believe you will watch it with mouth wide open and admire the style in awe.

Well, this is the end of DragonBall GT, but also the end for DragonBall. There is no such thing as DragonBall AF. Many of you might have seen a really crappy poster which it has a picture of Gokou in SSJ 5 and a title labelling DRAGONBALL AF at the bottom. It is just a picture created by someone, not even real. If you really like to see more DragonBall, I highly recommend you to see the DragonBal Z movies. There are 18 movies and they are really really good. There is also a special TV episode after DragonBall GT, which we see Gokou's great-grandson...
